The Madison Square eats are bi-annual food markets in the heart of New York’s Flatiron district; this event is highly anticipated by the New Yorkers as it has some of the best foods in the world. Some of the best restaurants and vendors come together and in the Madison Square Park and provide you with different cuisines that make your mouth water. There are two Market dates for the Madison Square Eats, the first one is the Spring Market where the people of New York come out to enjoy the warm weather and the second marker is the fall market. The fall market happens during September, and the Spring Market occurs during June.

If you happen to be in Madison Square during June and September, then you must not miss out the diverse flavors of food that is sold in the Flatiron District. The stalls make the Madison Square Park more beautiful and desirable. The shops are open every day from 11 am to 9 pm, till the season ends. It can get so hard for you to choose which food item you want to eat as there are so many food stalls in the park.

The following are some of my favorite food items that are sold at the Madison Square Eats:

  • Jars by Dani.
  • Hill Country Barbecue.
  • Palenque.
  • Red Hook Lobster Pound.
  • Roberta’s Margherita Pizza.
  • Melt ice cream sandwich.

Jars by Dani:

These are one of the best jars you will ever hold in your hand; it is a delicious dessert jar that looks gorgeous and tastes extremely good at the same time. You have lots of flavors like white chocolate, Gluten Free Fudge Brownie, Cookie Dough, lovely lemon bar, cake batter, etc.

Hill Country Barbecue:

Who wouldn’t love a spicy meat in the springtime festival? The barbeque is covered with spices and sauces, and it tastes brilliant. The Hill Country Barbecue is perfect to satisfy your hunger in no time.

Palenque:

If you are looking for some Colombian food in New York, then Palenque is the thing you need to eat in the Madison Square Eats. It is white cornmeal based bread, and it is topped with fresh seasoned chicken, beef, red beans, tomato, and sauce.

Red Hook Lobster Pound:

The Red Hook Lobster Pound is soft bread which has fresh lobster with a creamy dressing. You can also choose the kind of bread you want. Many north-easterners would be familiar with the lobster rolls, but if you aren’t one, then take a bite of the Red Hook Lobster Pound, and you will understand the brilliance of its taste.

Roberta’s Margherita Pizza:

Who would not love a pizza on a warm summer evening? The Roberta’s Margherita Pizza is a classic and the sauce they use on the pizza just melts your heart.

Melt ice cream sandwich:

The Melt ice cream sandwiches are homemade, and they taste delicious. It is one of the best ways to wrap up your day in the Madison Square Eats.
